Disclaimers are the second most important thing you need to make sure you are doing right as a reviewer.
This morning a friend and I were discussing disclaimers, then right afterward I saw a post in a great new FB group that I have recently been invited to about the same subject. A follower of my blog has also posted some interesting questions, one of which was about disclaimers. So I realized I need to get back into gear and start sharing the gems of information I have learned about reviewing, especially about disclaimers.
To read the whole article about Disclaimers and to enter my very first contest, please click here: Disclaimers? Disclaimers! Disclaimers? Also, there is a contest on this page. LOL, yep, you have to come read the article to find out what the contest is. It’s very easy and you could win a $10.00 Amazon Gift Card.
Your rookie mistake doesn’t have to deal with writing product reviews, it can be about anything new you have tried that you would like to share. Parenting, blogging, purchasing a home, making new friends, dieting; whatever you have done and realized the mistakes you made after the fact. Hindsight is 20/20! For me, I know my biggest rookie mistake this year was not getting organized BEFORE I started doing product reviews. I had no idea that things would progress as quickly as they did. Soon I was buried in products and the holidays were here. I thought I had a handle on it, but soon realized I was getting swamped and not enjoying it like I should be. If your hobby is not fun anymore, you need to examine what you are doing wrong and reevaluate your decision to do it. I love reviewing products so I needed to find a way to get organized, and fast. There are so many things you can do to prepare yourself for this, and it is never too late to start.
One of my next articles is about being prepared to review products. ∼ What do you need to do before you even start requesting products. ∼ Amazon Profile ∼ Email Set Up and Folders ∼ Organization on your computer ∼ Workspace ∼ Schedule ∼ Networking ∼ What are some of the ways to keep track of your orders ∼ What else do you need to do so you can you can be ready for the actual products once they start arriving!!! There are so many ways you can make this easier so that you can enjoy it more. These organizational tips aren’t just for beginners, experienced reviewers may find some gems in them also.
Leave a Reply below and share what your biggest rookie mistake was and tell us what is the most useful thing you do to stay on top of being organized as you do reviews. I love to hear from people and I think it is important to be able to share our mistakes and success. I want this blog to be a place where you can feel welcome to come and not only hopefully learn something, but share your own experiences or find a sounding board for your questions from not only me but the other wonderful people who are following this blog.
I would also love to read about what you all use to stay grounded and organized in LIFE!

Well, this year I promised to start sharing more about myself, coming out as a real person, sharing my hopes, dreams and inspirations. Elvis Presley was my first love and I have been in love with him for over 40 years now. His voice, his smile, his humor. I just can’t resist.
When I am down or blue, when the pain gets too much to bear, Elvis is there for me through his music.
And did I mention sexy? This man was so incredibly sexy. If you don’t believe it, I challenge you to watch this video and then try and say it. One Night with You……… If I could only have had one night with Elvis…. sigh….. Just like countless other women, and men, around the world we couldn’t stop ourselves.
May I introduce Elvis Aron Presley singing One Night With You at the 68 Comeback Special

I have been reading posts in numerous FB groups all week and have seen that many people have questions, concerns, and even downright anger about AMZ Review Trader’s new 2.0 release. The changes and incorporation of Tiers & Limits along with Word Count Grades has certainly generated a lot of buzz. I have been corresponding with AMZ RT about these issues this week and think you will find this helpful.
I have added 5 new sources for you where you can find some wonderful products to do reviews on.
I now have a total of 15 opportunities listed, one of them is closing to membership soon. The new ones include 2 email groups, which I love! They are similar to many of the FB groups I am in, but their products are better and have many unique things that I haven’t seen available in FB groups. As an added bonus, no drama! I then have 2 new websites I am using and one limited time opportunity.

Thanks, and Happy Reviewing!

Well after a short break off while I was migrating my site to my own domain from WordPress, I am finally up and running again. I have a ton of new things to share about Product Reviewing and I thought I would come out of my self-imposed prison of over 8 years and start really interacting with the world again. I plan to share more about myself including things like adopting one of our grandchildren, my health struggles, interests such as aromatherapy, DIY, recipes and many things to inspire us all.
Thank you all for following me. Your support has meant more than you know. It has actually given me the courage I needed to face up to my illness and realize how cut off I am, and I am the main one to blame. But more of that later, for now, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
